Best LLM visibility tools in 2026, compared on price

Published · Updated · Viscovery, Pepper Square

Viscovery is our product. Every other price and feature below is quoted from the vendor’s own page as it read on 4 October 2026. Prices change, so check the vendor’s page before you buy.

The short answer. LLM visibility tools come in two kinds. Trackers ask a fixed set of prompts again and again and chart how often ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and others mention you; they are sold as subscriptions or contracts. One-time checks answer the question once: free snapshots show whether you are mentioned, and a paid audit explains why and what to fix. Pick a tracker if you need a trend line, and a one-time audit if you need a diagnosis first.

Each tool, in detail

1. Viscovery: a one-time audit

Viscovery runs one audit of your site for the keywords you choose and delivers a report. There is no subscription: Starter is $49 for 1 keyword, Growing Brands $99 for 5 and Market Leaders $149 for 7. For each plan’s top 1 to 3 keywords the report records what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity answer and which sources they cite, and runs ChatGPT alone for the rest.

The report opens with five health scores and follows fixed sections, from Current Position and Evidence to What to Build and a 90-Day Roadmap; Growing Brands and Market Leaders add Keyword Portfolio and Competitive Landscape. How the scores are produced is published, and three complete sample reports are public. What it does not do: track mentions over time. A report describes your site on the day it runs. Fits if you want to know why assistants skip you and what to change, once, before deciding whether to pay for tracking.

2. Otterly.AI: low-cost tracking

Otterly.AI tracks how AI search engines mention you across a set of prompts. Plans are Lite at $29 a month for 15 prompts, Standard at $189 for 100 and Premium at $489 for 400, with Enterprise priced on request; paying annually takes 15% off. It tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, and sells Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini as add-ons priced by plan. Every plan also includes URL-level “GEO audits” (1,000 a month on Lite), so it is not true that trackers never audit. A free trial is offered; the page does not say how long it lasts. Fits if you want an ongoing mention count on a small monthly budget. We compare it with Viscovery directly in Viscovery vs Otterly.AI.

3. Peec AI: tracking with a choice of models

Peec AI is a tracker priced by prompt count: Starter at $95 a month for 50 prompts, Pro at $245 for 150 and Advanced at $495 for 350, with Enterprise on request and 15% off for annual billing. Self-serve plans track three models of your choice from ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI; each additional model is an add-on, and Enterprise tracks up to 13. A free trial button is shown, but the trial terms are not published. Fits if the assistants you care about include one the other tools here do not list, such as Naver AI.

4. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: tracking inside an SEO suite

Semrush sells its AI Visibility Toolkit at $99 a month per domain, the same figure on its monthly and annual tabs. It reports mentions from ChatGPT, Google AI, Gemini and Perplexity, tracks 25 custom prompts daily, and includes a site audit for AI readiness. Semrush offers a seven-day free trial; its page does not say whether the trial covers this toolkit. Fits if your team already works in Semrush and wants AI mentions beside its search data.

5. Ahrefs Brand Radar: tracking for Ahrefs customers

Brand Radar is an add-on to an Ahrefs plan. Custom prompts start at $50 a month for 83 prompts a day across every platform, Claude included; the AI Visibility Index is $199 a month for one platform and $699 for all of them. It covers AI Overviews and AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Gemini. There is no free tier: paid Ahrefs plans include a small custom-prompt quota, and the cheapest plan that includes it, Lite, is $129 a month. Fits if you already pay for Ahrefs and want AI tracking in the same place.

6. Profound: enterprise tracking

Profound publishes no paid plan price: its brand plans are a trial and a custom Enterprise contract. The trial runs 50 prompts a day for seven days across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews; Enterprise tracks up to nine answer engines, adding Perplexity, AI Mode, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude and Exa. Its agency plans list client workspaces as a $399-a-month add-on, again with no base price shown. Fits if you need many engines tracked and are buying through a sales process.

7. HubSpot AI Search Grader: a free one-time check

HubSpot’s grader is a free, one-time check with no account required, though it asks you to complete a short form to see the full results. It asks an OpenAI GPT model, Perplexity and Gemini about your brand. HubSpot’s paid AI product, HubSpot AEO, is $50 a month and does not need a HubSpot subscription. Fits if you want a quick, free read on how three assistants describe your brand.

8. Ahrefs AI Visibility Checker: a free snapshot

Ahrefs’ free checker needs no signup or credit card and sets no limit on how many brands you check. It is a one-time snapshot with a limited preview, the top five results per section. Its page lists five platforms in one place and six in its FAQ (adding Google AI Mode); we list the five. Fits if you want to see, for free, whether the assistants mention you at all.

Which kind you need

You need a tracker if

you already know where you stand and want to see it move: how often the assistants mention you across dozens or hundreds of prompts, week after week, and how that compares with competitors. The trackers above are sold as subscriptions or contracts, and most are priced by the number of prompts they run. Viscovery does not do this. A Viscovery report describes your site on the day it runs.

You need a one-time audit if

you do not yet know why the assistants skip you. A free snapshot tells you whether you are mentioned. An audit tells you what stands in the way: crawlers your robots.txt turns away, pages that do not answer the questions buyers ask, and, from the Growing Brands plan up, which competitors the assistants name instead. The Viscovery report costs $49 to $149, paid once, and ends in a prioritized list of fixes. If you are weighing an agency instead, see agency or self-serve audit.

Start free either way

The free AI visibility check reads your robots.txt, llms.txt and homepage, with no signup. If the crawlers cannot read your site, no tracker will find you mentioned, and that is the first thing to fix.

How to choose, in five questions

  1. Do you need a trend or a diagnosis? A trend needs a tracker billed monthly. A diagnosis is a one-time job.
  2. Which assistants matter to your buyers? Coverage differs: some trackers charge extra for Claude or Gemini, and Peec AI makes you pick three models on its self-serve plans.
  3. How many prompts do you need tracked? Most trackers price by prompt count, from 15 prompts on Otterly.AI’s cheapest plan to hundreds on the larger ones.
  4. Do you already pay for an SEO suite? Semrush and Ahrefs sell AI tracking beside the tools you may already use; Ahrefs requires a paid plan for it.
  5. Can the assistants read your site at all? Check that first, for free. A blocked crawler explains a missing mention faster than any tracker.

How we compared

We opened each vendor’s pricing or product page in a browser and recorded the plan names, prices and platforms as written there, most recently on 4 October 2026. No price had changed since our first check on 27 September 2026. Where a page does not publish a figure, this page says so. Where a page contradicts itself (the Ahrefs checker lists five platforms in one place and six in its FAQ), we used the shorter list.
